Asúa joins Global Polymer Solutions, strengthening its capabilities in PVC additives and stabilisers
The integration strengthens the Group’s technical capabilities and supports its continued global growth
Asúa Products, S.A. (“Asúa”) has today joined Global Polymer Solutions S.L (“the Group”).
Founded in 1954 and headquartered in Bilbao (Spain), Asúa is a leading manufacturer of tailor-made one-packs of calcium zinc heat stabilisers and other additives for PVC applications, with a strong presence in Europe and the Americas. The company operates a well‑invested manufacturing facility near Bilbao and employs approximately 90 people.
By joining the Group, Asúa brings a recognised leadership in customised heat stabilising systems, strong formulation and application know‑how, as well as long‑standing relationships with blue‑chip customers, particularly in pipes & fittings and wire & cable applications. Asúa’s complementary product portfolio strengthens the group’s positioning as a one‑stop European solutions provider for the thermoplastics industry, alongside Delta Tecnic, Ultrabatch, Masterbatch, Eurocolor and Polytechs.
Ignacio Trueba, the CEO of Asúa who joined the company in 1999, will remain in his role and continue to lead the company’s development.
