Barcelona, May 8 2026 – Delta Tecnic, a leading company specialized in the manufacture of masterbatch for the cable and PVC industries, presented its latest solutions for the cable industry at Wire Expo 2026, organized by The Wire Association International (WAI). The exhibition took place at the Baird Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on May 6 and 7.
Featured solutions presented by Delta Tecnic
- Masterbatch for fiber optics and telecommunications: in response to the growing demand for smaller, lighter, and more compact cables, Delta Tecnic presented its micromasterbatch solutions, developed with reduced pellet size to improve dispersion, color homogeneity, opacity, and visual identification in thin-walled cable applications. These solutions are designed to support efficient cable designs where color consistency and reliable identification are critical, even in applications with very low wall thickness.
- Masterbatch for automotive cables: Delta Tecnic showcased solutions for wiring systems that must meet strict requirements in terms of thermal resistance, aging performance, and long-term color stability. These properties are particularly relevant for electric and hybrid vehicle applications, where cables are exposed to demanding operating conditions. Delta Tecnic’s masterbatches are designed to deliver uniform and durable coloring across different thermal classes, including high-temperature applications, while maintaining performance under extreme conditions.
- Masterbatch for photovoltaic and energy cables: with over 40 years of experience in the cable industry, Delta Tecnic develops masterbatch solutions designed to support demanding technical requirements in photovoltaic and energy cable applications. The company showcased its range for photovoltaic installations, developed for polymer compounds commonly used in this sector, including UV protection options and specific formulations designed to help improve cable durability in demanding outdoor environments, where long-term performance is critical.
In addition, Delta Tecnic presented further solutions from its cable portfolio, including masterbatches for TPU compounds, halogen-free flame-retardant applications, and high-performance masterbatches for fluoropolymers such as FEP, ETFE, and PFA.
By ensuring color consistency, dispersion quality, and process stability, Delta Tecnic helps cable manufacturers reduce non-conforming production, waste, and rework. This approach contributes to more efficient manufacturing processes and supports the development of a more sustainable cable industry.
