For Delta Tecnic, this recognition endorses its strategic plan for decarbonisation, energy-consumption reduction and the circular economy.
Barcelona, 16 February 2026 — Delta Tecnic, an international benchmark in the production of high-quality masterbatches for the cable and PVC industries, has taken a decisive step forward in its sustainability strategy by reaching the 97th percentile in EcoVadis’ global ranking, placing it among the top 3% of highest-rated companies worldwide. This recognition has been confirmed with the award of the EcoVadis 2025 Gold Medal, with a score of 81 out of 100.
Since its inception in 2005, Delta Tecnic has embedded sustainability as a strategic pillar of its industrial management. To this end, the company has a long term action plan with key milestones through 2030, encompassing a range of objectives including decarbonisation, water and electricity consumption, and recycling.
Lower emissions and more recycling by 2030
From an environmental standpoint, Delta Tecnic rigorously calculates the carbon footprint of both the organisation and its products. Its 2030 goal is to cut greenhouse gas emissions by 30% compared to 2021.
In addition, over the past few years the company has developed a range of recycling-based products. By 2030, up to five solutions will feature in its most sustainable portfolio thanks to the reuse of raw materials. This strategy is supported by a waste-recovery process, with a target of up to 40% to be achieved within the next four years.
100% commitment to renewable energy
In addition, the company has implemented effective policies to reduce water and energy consumption. In this regard, it has reduced water use by 18.6% since 2021, exceeding and ahead of schedule, the 10% target set for 2030. In parallel, it ensures that 100% of the energy used at its plant comes from renewable sources, combining on-site photovoltaic self-consumption with electricity purchased under Guarantees of Origin.
On the other hand, the company maintains a firm commitment to ethics, human rights and good governance, aligning with the principles of the United Nations Global Compact (UN Global Compact) and relying on a certified compliance system that ensures regulatory compliance and integrity across all its operations.
In this sense, the company is a committed partner to its local environment and stakeholders. Delta Tecnic therefore advises seven out of ten key suppliers on ESG criteria. This figure is expected to increase by 2030, as the company plans to raise this support to 80%.
Eva Llanas, ESG Manager at Delta Tecnic, notes: “Our recognition by EcoVadis confirms a commitment we have sustained for years. Sustainability is an integral part of our value chain, and we work with rigour and a long-term vision to ensure that all our business decisions are responsible, measurable, and aligned with the most demanding international standards.”
