Delta Tecnic remains committed to reducing CO₂ emissions.
The goal for 2030 is to achieve a 30% reduction in carbon intensity.

In 2024, the company carried out a new calculation of its organizational carbon footprint, following the ISO 14064-1 standard methodology, and published Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) for seven product families.

CO₂ emissions, using the same calculation system as in previous years, decreased in 2024 compared to 2021 emissions, which is the baseline year for measuring progress: going from 19,463 t to 18,729 t. The trend in carbon intensity—emissions related to produced tons—changed from 2.6 kg CO₂/kg to 2.7 kg CO₂/kg.

To improve measurement reliability, an additional calculation was performed in parallel, considering more CO₂ contributions related to raw materials and electricity distribution, resulting in a higher emissions value of 22,945 t.

Scope 1 emissions are practically zero, as no fossil fuels are used in production; they only come from vehicle fuel consumption, representing 0.2%. The goal for 2030 is to keep them below 100 t, reducing impacts from company-owned transportation.

Scope 2 emissions have been completely eliminated: while in 2023 they were 377 t, in 2024 they dropped to zero thanks to the use of 100% renewable energy—an important milestone. The goal for 2030 is to maintain them at zero.

Regarding Scope 3 emissions, 90% are due to the production and transportation of raw materials. The location of production plants and the origin of raw materials have caused an increase compared to 2024, making this the main focus for reduction actions. The goal for 2030 is to reduce them by 30% compared to 2021, reaching 13,540 t CO₂, mainly through:

  • Using recycled raw materials, aiming for a 20% reduction by 2030.
  • Engaging the supply chain and ensuring supplier commitment to decarbonization, aiming for an additional 10% reduction.

At Delta Tecnic, we continue working to implement decarbonization measures, and everyone’s collaboration is essential to achieve this. Will you join us?
