La incid\u00e8ncia de la llum solar, els cicles de temperatura i la humitat provoquen la intemp\u00e8rie: un proc\u00e9s qu\u00edmic irreversible que causa la decoloraci\u00f3 i la p\u00e8rdua de les propietats mec\u00e0niques dels pol\u00edmers. Delta Tecnic, empresa l\u00edder en tecnologia de color industrial, proposa una s\u00e8rie de solucions per prevenir aquests efectes als cables exposats a la intemp\u00e8rie.<\/p>\n<p>El mercat de cables ofereix diversos dissenys i aplicacions per al seu \u00fas a exteriors. Aix\u00f2 s&#8217;observa en cables de mitjana tensi\u00f3, cables fotovoltaics per a panells solars, cables d&#8217;alimentaci\u00f3 per a edificis, els cables de fibra \u00f2ptica aeris cada vegada m\u00e9s demandats o els necessaris per als carregadors de cotxes el\u00e8ctrics. Evidentment, les noves tend\u00e8ncies plantegen una s\u00e8rie de desafiaments per a la <a href=\"https:\/\/deltatecnic.com\/ca\/deltacolor-pvc\/cables\/\">ind\u00fastria del cable<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>La fotodegradaci\u00f3 redueix la vida \u00fatil dels cables<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>La fotodegradaci\u00f3 \u00e9s un proc\u00e9s fotoqu\u00edmic produ\u00eft per la llum solar que \u00e9s acumulatiu, cosa que significa que empitjora amb el temps, i \u00e9s irreversible. La degradaci\u00f3 del pol\u00edmer per la radiaci\u00f3 ultraviolada (UV) influeix en les propietats f\u00edsiques i, per tant, en la vida \u00fatil.<\/p>\n<p>Aix\u00ed doncs, la radiaci\u00f3 UV provoca una degradaci\u00f3 fotooxidativa que resulta en la ruptura de les cadenes polim\u00e8riques, produint radicals lliures, que inicien una reacci\u00f3 en cadena de ruptura de cadenes polim\u00e8riques, cosa que comporta el deteriorament de les seves propietats mec\u00e0niques. En conseq\u00fc\u00e8ncia, es produeix una degradaci\u00f3 de l&#8217;aspecte visual, la brillantor i la superf\u00edcie, aix\u00ed com una p\u00e8rdua de les propietats mec\u00e0niques del cable, cosa que en limita la vida \u00fatil en condicions \u00f2ptimes.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c9s important recordar que quan un pl\u00e0stic s&#8217;exposa a la radiaci\u00f3 solar ia les condicions clim\u00e0tiques, es produeixen dos fen\u00f2mens independents: la degradaci\u00f3 polim\u00e8rica i la fotodegradaci\u00f3 dels grups crom\u00f2fors presents als pigments, responsables del color final del cable.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Com preservar les propietats d&#8217;un cable per a exteriors<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Hi ha tres maneres de mitigar la fotodegradaci\u00f3 polim\u00e8rica:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">Utilitzar additius anomenats filtres UV, que absorbeixen la llum ultraviolada causant de la degradaci\u00f3. En incidir la llum solar sobre aquests additius, aquests reaccionen i impedeixen que la llum arribi al pol\u00edmer, actuant com un para-sol.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">Mitjan\u00e7ant HALS (estabilitzador de llum d&#8217;amina impedida), aquesta fam\u00edlia d&#8217;additius reacciona amb els radicals lliures, els bloqueja i preveu la ruptura de la cadena polim\u00e8rica. Quan la llum UV incideix sobre el pol\u00edmer i es genera un radical lliure, el HALS actua per aturar el proc\u00e9s de degradaci\u00f3.<br \/>\nAmb pigment negre (negre de fum). L&#8217;alta capacitat d&#8217;absorci\u00f3 del negre de fum per a la radiaci\u00f3 UV actua com a filtre, impedint que reaccioni amb el pol\u00edmer. Les qualitats m\u00e9s efectives s\u00f3n les de menor mida de part\u00edcula, ja que tenen una major superf\u00edcie per captar la radiaci\u00f3 solar.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">I el color? No hi ha cap additiu que protegeixi el color del cable com s\u00ed que passa amb el pol\u00edmer. La soluci\u00f3, en aquest cas, consisteix a formular el color fent servir pigments preparats per resistir les condicions exteriors.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>En altres paraules, cal triar des del principi el pigment o la combinaci\u00f3 de pigments adequats que siguin resistents a la llum. L&#8217;estudi exhaustiu del comportament dels pigments en els diferents tipus de pol\u00edmers utilitzats a la ind\u00fastria del cable (PVC, <a href=\"https:\/\/deltatecnic.com\/ca\/resistencia-sense-renunciar-a-les-propietats-mecaniques\/\">HFFR<\/a>, TPU, XLPE, EPDM, etc.) en condicions exteriors \u00e9s fonamental per garantir l&#8217;estabilitat del color del cable durant la seva vida \u00fatil a la intemp\u00e8rie.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Com es pot predir el comportament d&#8217;un cable per a exteriors?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Delta Tecnic, en l\u00ednia amb el seu comprom\u00eds amb la innovaci\u00f3 i les noves solucions tecnol\u00f2giques, mesura el comportament dels pigments en exteriors al laboratori. L&#8217;empresa fa una prova que accelera l&#8217;exposici\u00f3 dels pl\u00e0stics a diferents condicions de llum solar. Aix\u00f2 s&#8217;anomena Prova Solar i es fa amb un instrument que emet llum solar visible i experimenta cicles de canvis de temperatura, humitat i sequedat.<\/p>\n<p>Gr\u00e0cies als assaigs de laboratori de la Prova Solar amb els diferents compostos utilitzats a la ind\u00fastria del cable i amb multitud de pigments, s&#8217;ha adquirit el coneixement profund necessari per definir les formulacions \u00f2ptimes que compleixin els requisits m\u00e9s exigents de les normatives de cables, al menor cost possible.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Resist\u00e8ncia a la intemp\u00e8rie ia la llum<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>En definitiva, hi ha m\u00e8todes efica\u00e7os per predir el comportament dels cables d&#8217;exterior, cosa que facilita la selecci\u00f3 de pigments i, per tant, l&#8217;estimaci\u00f3 de la vida \u00fatil del pl\u00e0stic. Aix\u00f2 simplifica la presa de decisions i contribueix a la instal\u00b7laci\u00f3 de cables robustos capa\u00e7os de suportar les inclem\u00e8ncies del temps i la decoloraci\u00f3 per la llum.<\/p>\n<p>A m\u00e9s del concepte tradicional de resist\u00e8ncia a la llum, que considera la incid\u00e8ncia de la llum, hi ha tamb\u00e9 el concepte de resist\u00e8ncia a la intemp\u00e8rie, que, a m\u00e9s de la llum, t\u00e9 en compte factors com la temperatura i la humitat. De fet, els pigments amb bona resist\u00e8ncia a la llum poden no funcionar correctament a diferents rangs de temperatura i radiaci\u00f3 solar, i tamb\u00e9 es veuen afectats pel pol\u00edmer utilitzat en la fabricaci\u00f3 del cable. Tots dos factors es combinen per crear un problema a qu\u00e8 s&#8217;enfronten els dissenyadors de cables d&#8217;exterior, per\u00f2 afortunadament hi ha una
